On September 26, 2025, Enercmed participated in the European Researchers’ Night at the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia.
This Europe-wide initiative aims to familiarize the general public with the world of science, strengthening the connection between researchers and society. Our team took this opportunity to engage visitors, particularly young students, in a dialogue about the future of our cities.
Activities and Topics Led by EFM-LAB members, our stand featured interactive presentations and hands-on discussions focused on:

Green Cities & Clean Energy: Explaining how cities can become more sustainable.

Urban Heat & NBS: Demonstrating the impact of urban heat islands and how Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) can mitigate them.

Renewable Integration: Introducing the role of renewable energy in daily life.
The event was a resounding success, with students displaying great curiosity and enthusiasm for environmental topics. It was a privilege to see the next generation so engaged in understanding how nature and technology can work together.
