The EnerCmed project is proud to announce that Valencia Clima i Energia, one of its key partners, actively participated in the launch event of the Spanish Territorial Antenna for the Mission Green Living Areas, held recently in Spain.
This strategic event marked an important step toward building a national network of stakeholders committed to sustainable and resilient territorial development. Valencia Clima i Energia represented the EnerCmed project with the goal of establishing connections with municipalities across Spain, sharing knowledge, and promoting innovative approaches to climate adaptation, energy transition, and civil protection.
Through its participation, the EnerCmed team highlighted the project’s objectives—particularly the integration of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) into local resilience planning—and exchanged ideas with public and private actors engaged in creating more livable, climate-friendly communities.
By taking part in this key national initiative, EnerCmed continues to expand its impact beyond the pilot regions, supporting the creation of transnational synergies and aligning with the broader goals of the EU Missions and the Interreg Euro-MED Green Living Areas thematic community.
Stay tuned as EnerCmed continues to strengthen its network and empower local actors across the Mediterranean to build a safer, greener future.
